A few years ago, I found myself at one of those crossroads. The kind that arrives quietly, then all at once. I needed something to do with my hands. Something slow, tactile, and completely mine.

I ordered my first bag of coconut/apricot wax blend on a whim.

I didn’t know what I was doing. I burned batches, miscalculated fragrance loads, and made more than a few candles that looked beautiful and smelled like nothing at all. But somewhere between the mess and the learning, I fell completely in love with the process.

Soap came next and with it, a whole new obsession! Lye calculations, oil profiles, superfat percentages. The science of it fascinated me as much as the craft.

Wild Isle Studio is what grew out of all of that. A place to share what I’ve learned, the tools I wish I’d had, and an honest record of the wins and the disasters!
